I Put it in America temperature units... it seems a bit colder. That’s -42c and -55c at 5-6 am

This is what I call fucken cold.

It was -30c during the day when I was removing snow from my gazebo and solarium’s roofs. Had to stop cause I was too hot. I was wearing my snowmobile suit.. it was half unzipped too

How cold is gonna be for you guys?

heh, it’s going to be -1F tomorrow night and I was thinking about bitching.

and of course, once it gets in the vicinity of -40 it doesn’t matter if it’s C or F. they’re about the same, and they’re both fucking cold.

about 10 years ago I worked for a product validation test lab. we had walk-in and drive-in chambers which could get down to -70C. that was fun, running low temperature soak tests in the middle of the summer, and having to go in there to un-stick actuators. You’d walk in and your nostrils would freeze instantly .

It was -30c -22f when I left the house after supper . My tires felt like squares for the first minute of driving.

It’s been about -22f here for the past 3 days so we are used to it. But that wind makes it cold quick.

Difficult for snow to stick in Manhattan because underground it’s all subway tunnels and steam pipes and powerlines and access tunnels. The streets are warm, but sometimes it’s cold enough. We got this dusting in March 2018, and that’s been it ... Central Park near 66th and 5th Avenue.
